As a Security Officer Access Screening in Fountain Inn, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support daily operations through attentive presence and strong communication. You will help to deter security-related incidents, assist with routine patrols, and deliver customer-focused service while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at the location.
• Monitor entrances, gates, badge access points, and/or delivery areas to help support authorized access, report unusual activity, and follow site policies for restricted areas within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, site contacts, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, and operational spaces, with working environments and conditions that may vary throughout the location.
• Complete required logs, incident reports, and other records related to access control, visitor management, and/or security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
