As a Security Officer Access Operations in Pontiac, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech location where you will manage access control, monitor activity, and support security-related operations with professionalism and strong communication. In this role, you will help to deter incidents through a visible presence, verify entry permissions, and assist employees and visitors with care. Guided by teamwork, integrity, and an innovative approach, you will play an important part in daily site operations.

Pay Rate: $18.68 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, visitor processing, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, manage guest and delivery access, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, facility issues, and other security-related concerns that may require follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
