Security Officer Access Management

As a Security Officer Access Management in West Chester, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. This role combines routine patrols with a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology and media location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor processing, and report unusual activity or access concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Assist with badge checks, access permissions, and lobby or gate coverage to help support authorized entry and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with professionalism, clear communication, and appropriate escalation based on site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting security-related issues, access control concerns, and/or environmental conditions that may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
