In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents through strong communication, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative culture. **Position Type: Full Time** **Pay Rate: $18.73 / Hour** **Job Schedule:** **Day** **Time** Mon07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Tue07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Wed07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Thur07:00 AM - 03:00 PM **What You'll Do:** + Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location. + Monitor access control points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to manage the entry and exit of employees, contractors, deliveries, and guests. + Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols. + Maintain accurate visitor logs, access records, and/or incident documentation while communicating clearly with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership. + Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, including key entry points, parking areas, and operational zones, with awareness that working conditions may vary by site. **Minimum Requirements:** + Customer service experience is preferred. + Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. + A guard card or license is preferred. + Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. **Why Join Us:** + **Smart Tools:** Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more. + **Career Growth:** Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities. + **Financial and Health Benefits:** Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance. + **Exclusive Perks:** Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program. **Job ID:** 2026-1592618 **Location:** United States-Washington-Spokane **Job Category:** Security Officer
