As a Security Officer Access Administrator in Kansas City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, manage access control activities, and conduct routine patrols that help to deter security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential verification, and security-related policies at an industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, process visitor and vendor check-in/check-out activities, and help to deter unauthorized access to buildings, production areas, loading zones, and restricted spaces.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including gates, parking areas, warehouse spaces, and exterior grounds, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Document daily activities, access events, policy violations, and unusual observations in required logs and reports, and report maintenance concerns or security-related issues to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
