Job Summary

Security Manager shall oversee multiple client sites for the management of the Security staff. Security Managers may be required to travel to multiple Services Sites as part of their duties.

Primary Responsibilities

• Providing direction and instruction to security staff by making daily rounds of assigned Location(s) and maintaining staff performance.
• Explaining post procedures under Post Orders.
• Providing Training to Supervising Guards under his/her supervision and ensuring that each Supervising Guard fully understands the duties and services to be provided.
• Providing technical and administrative advice to Supervising Guards as appropriate.
• Ensuring adequately assigned Posts are covered by applicable security guards.
• Providing direction and instructions to applicable security guards.
• Monitoring applicable security guard's performance.
• Providing technical and administrative support to applicable security guards.
• Responding to emergency and providing necessary support.
• Training applicable security guards on the use of radios and Services Sites codes.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Must have at least two (2) years of full-time experience as a security supervisor, preferably in a healthcare environment, within the last three (3) years and have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be highly organized and available during off-hours, weekends, etc.
• Individual must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Individual must have experience managing Guard staff.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License.
• Ability to receive and disseminate information clearly is required.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize is required.
• Individual must be highly organized and responsive.
• Courteous, "customer-service" demeanor is required
