Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and eager Security Liaison to join our Security team. This entry level position serves as a welcoming point of contact for customers and visitors, and is responsible for monitoring access at designated entry and exit points to ensure a safe and secure environment. The role primarily involves maintaining a visible presence at the TSA door and engaging with customers and visitors in a professional and courteous manner. The ideal candidate is approachable, reliable, attentive, and comfortable performing routine duties. This position requires the ability to follow established procedures for access control, support customer and facility operations, and is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Monitor and regulate pedestrian traffic to restricted areas such as the flight line in compliance with company and TSA regulations.
· Maintain a visible presence at assigned posts, ensuring controlled access to secured areas through active observation and adherence to access procedures.
· Greet customers, staff, vendors, and guests in a courteous, professional manner, serving as a positive first point of contact.
· Support a safe and secure environment by remaining alert, reporting concerns, and collaborating with internal safety or operations teams as needed.
· Provide general customer service support, including assisting with directions, coordinating transportation (e.g., taxis or rideshare), and enhancing the overall customer experience.
· Assist with baggage handling and escorting customers to designated areas, including aircraft when applicable.
· Perform valet-related duties, including:
o Greeting arriving guests and opening vehicle doors
o Assisting with unloading luggage and personal belongings
o Safely parking and retrieving vehicles
o Documenting vehicle location and securing keys appropriately
o Directing traffic in valet and parking areas
· Accurately log valet activity and vehicle usage using designated systems (e.g., iPad, FastField).
· Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby and work area.
· Respond to urgent situations in a calm, solution-oriented manner, escalating issues when appropriate.
· Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling, including shift coverage as needed.
· Uphold company standards of professionalism, safety, and customer service at all times.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in security, aviation, or applicable customer service required.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong problem solving and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Team oriented with a flexible, can-do attitude and a willingness to accept frequent changes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office).
- Basic knowledge of security, airport, and TSA rules and guidelines.
Certifications, Licenses, & Badging
- Ability to attain Love Field Badge
- Valid Driver's License
- First Aid/CPR preferred
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to various weather conditions. This position requires working in indoor, and outdoor settings. The employee may be exposed to loud noise levels in and around their work environment. The physical demands regularly required are to frequently sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to occasionally squat, crawl, and climb, along with the ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Daily interaction with clients where tact, decorum, and professionalism is mandatory while maintaining a team effort in customer service.
Primary shift: 2nd shift (2 p.m. - 10 p.m.)
