As a Security Guard Vehicle Patrol Driver in Sterling, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech location as an unarmed patrol officer in a driving post. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including exterior areas, perimeter points, parking areas, and other assigned spaces, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor entry and exit activity at assigned areas, verify credentials when required, and report access concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Support security-related operations within a technology-focused environment by remaining attentive to site protocols, protecting sensitive areas from unauthorized entry, and completing required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
