As a Security Guard Patrol Service Representative in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer at a dynamic data center location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points.
- Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Support daily operations at a high-availability technology location by observing equipment areas, reporting unusual conditions, and communicating with site personnel regarding security-related matters.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
