Join Allied Universal at a dynamic automotive location as an unarmed officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with an agile, reliable, and innovative mindset, while putting people first, working as a team, and acting with integrity.

Pay Rate: $25.88 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and emergency response actions when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including production areas, parking lots, loading zones, and perimeter routes, as conditions vary by site.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access, support visitor processing, and verify that vehicle and/or pedestrian activity follows site protocols.
• Assist with security-related inspections of gates, doors, fences, and other key areas, and report maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy violations observed during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
