Security Guard (Full-Time)

Job Summary

We are seeking highly vigilant and dedicated Armed Security Guards to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. This role requires a proactive approach to surveillance and conflict management, as well as the ability to respond effectively to emergencies. The Armed Security Guard will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment through regular patrols, monitoring surveillance systems, and enforcing security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter and detect unauthorized activities.
• Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV, to identify potential security threats.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Enforce security policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring the safety of individuals in emergency situations.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations.
• Document incidents and prepare reports on security activities for management review.
• Participate in ongoing training programs related to conflict management, loss prevention, and emergency response.

Skills

• Valid Drivers License Required for Outdoor Armed Security Patrol
• Strong knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
• Experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred.
• Proficient in surveillance techniques and equipment operation (CCTV).
• Ability to manage conflicts effectively while maintaining composure under pressure.
• Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and practices.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for reporting incidents accurately. • 8am - 5pm (Monday - Friday) - Indoor Armed Security
• 6am - 6pm (Saturday & Sunday) - Outdoor Mobile Armed Security
• 6pm - 6am (Saturday & Sunday) - Outdoor Mobile Armed Security
• 8am - 8pm (Saturdays Only) - Indoor Armed Security
