Are you a vigilant and service-oriented professional looking to make a difference in our campus community? Tohono O'odham Community College is seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join the Student Life division. In this role, you will be the frontline of our safety efforts, protecting college property and fostering a secure environment for our students, faculty, and staff. This is full-time, non-exempt position.

Hiring Salary Range: $17 to $19 an hour

What You Will Do:

As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for the protection of college property and the maintenance of a safe campus atmosphere. Your key responsibilities include:

• Conduct hourly patrols via motor vehicle or on foot to deter vandalism, theft, and unauthorized access to facilities.
• Ensure all doors, windows, and gates are locked and secure.
• Respond to emergency situations when needed and coordinate security issues with law enforcement agencies.
• Complete daily log sheets and incident reports for any occurrences on campus.
• Identify and report potentially unsafe conditions to the appropriate authorities.
