Job Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Public Safety coordinates and monitors security activities while acting as liaison between contracted security and the hospital. Assumes management responsibilities for both campuses and all aspects of the department in the absence of the Director of Public Safety as needed. Assists the Director of Public Safety with policy review/formation, action plans, budgets, personnel matters and conducts special investigations. Oversee all reportable incidents and internal investigations and documentation of such accordingly.

Qualifications

  • High School or equivalent Required
  • 4-6 years Five (5) years' experience in Security and/or law enforcement with at least two (2) years in a supervisory or investigative capacity. Experience working with CCTV Security Systems, Access Control Systems, Weapon Detection Systems, and WPS Garage Pay Systems preferred.
  • Valid New York State Security License, Valid driver's license with no current violations or suspensions. Required
