Join our team as a Security & Alarm Technician, installing and supporting low-voltage security systems such as alarms, access control, and CCTV. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and providing professional service to customers. DUTIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT NOT NECESSARILY BE LIMITED TO: - Cable Installation - Pull, label, and route low-voltage cabling (Cat5e/6, 18/2, 22/4) in commercial and residential environments.
- Device Mounting - Install door contacts, motion detectors, cameras, card readers, and other field devices under supervision.
- System Termination - Terminate and test cables, connectors, and panels following company and manufacturer standards.
- Site Preparation - Set up ladders, tools, materials, and work areas safely and efficiently.
- Assist Senior Technicians - Support commissioning, programming, and troubleshooting tasks.
- Documentation - Maintain accurate records of installed devices, cable routes, and daily progress.
- Customer Interaction - Communicate professionally with clients and occupants while on site.
- Safety Compliance - Follow OSHA, company, and job-site safety rules at all times.
