Securities & Derivatives Analyst

Pay Rate: $33.00 - $35.00 per hour

• Location: Tampa, FL
• Work Mode: Hybrid

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile accounts managed by the Securities & Derivatives area
• Serve as an analytical or procedural expert for securities processing deliverables/initiatives
• Minimize risk by monitoring errors and suggesting solutions to reduce them
• Ensure adherence to audit and control policies
• Monitor, analyze, and evaluate processes and data to ensure the accuracy and quality of completed settlement tasks
• Assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the company’s reputation and safeguarding its clients and assets
• Lead projects and initiatives
• Support Securities Finance Trading Desk with Trade Corrections, Trade Recalls, Return Processing, and Contract Compare
• Provide Cash Investment Support for Money Market Fund, Time Deposit, Repo, and Mutual Fund investment processing
• Contribute to the creation of customized reporting for management
• Support implementation of securities processing improvements
• Assist with identifying policy gaps and formulating streamlined policies
• Provide informal guidance or on-the-job training to lower-level/new team members
