  • Supervises daily operations of the Faculty Wellness section and executes wellness initiatives in accordance with the Faculty Wellness Program''s strategic plan for all component schools within TTUHSC El Paso.
  • Supervises and trains staff, implements mechanisms for project tracking and accountability, and establishes procedures to carry out Faculty Wellness objectives.
  • Collaborates with the Assistant Vice President for Faculty Affairs and Wellness on faculty wellness program initiatives.
  • Maintains policies, case management, and tracking of referrals assigned to the Physician and Student Well Being Committee (PSWBC) to ensure accurate, confidential record-keeping practices and timely follow-up and reporting in collaboration with the PSWBC Committee Chair.
  • Provides administrative and organizational support for the Physician and Student Well Being Committee and other faculty governance meetings.
  • Plans and coordinates educational programming, including a quarterly Faculty Wellness Grand Round series, and arranges for continuing professional education credit(s).
  • Oversees purchasing activities and provides fiscal oversight for purchasing card and travel reimbursement compliance, and collaborates with the Managing Director in budgeting for wellness programs.
  • Collaborates with department leaders and faculty in the development, implementation, and administration of workplace health promotion policies/programs.
  • Collects, compiles, and analyzes faculty data (e.g., Standpoint Survey, faculty wellness assessments, environmental scans/assessments, and program evaluations) to track program progress, including baseline and trend data.
  • Oversees data systems, physical and digital confidential records, and reporting for faculty wellness data.
  • Establishes positive working relationships with faculty and department staff to support Faculty Wellness Program goals and objectives.
  • Develops collaterals such as flyers, programs, invitations, and other marketing materials.
  • Implements internal communication campaigns targeting faculty on the Faculty Wellness Program''s activities, interventions, policies, and programs.
  • Serves as project manager for an assigned Faculty Affairs event and provides cross-coverage for divisions within the Office of Faculty Affairs.
  • Remain current with all licensure, certifications, and mandatory compliances and trainings required of this position.
  • Adhere to all policies, procedures, and practices (Regents Rules, TTUS, HSECEP OPs, etc.).
  • Personally, and consistently, demonstrate, display, and act in accordance with Texas Tech Health El Paso''s Values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork). Serve as a Values leader while actively promoting and encouraging staff across the institution.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with graphic design software such as Adobe Acrobat Suite, Canva, etc.
  • Experience in health care or higher education setting.
  • Experience in public health, health promotion, or faculty/employee wellness programs.
  • Valid Texas driver's license and liability insurance for use of personal vehicle required.
