Section Manager Operations

Location Butler PACleveland-Cliffs Butler Works has an opportunity for a Section Manager role in our Roll Grind Department. The Section Manager will be responsible for taking lead roles in managing product flow equipment operations and employee performance so that the products conform to customer requirements and productivity meets business needs. The ideal candidate will have a high level of organization and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.Summary of Responsibilities· Responsible for all safety environmental quality productivity cost management and budgeting activities for the Department.· Continuously identifies areas for increased efficiency through process control.· Leads a team of salary supervisors engineers and hourly bargaining unit employees and ensures that company rules and standard practices are being followed. · Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications· Excellent communication analytical problem solving and time management skills.· Strong leadership skills with significant management experience including safety environmental quality cost management budgeting and maintenance effectiveness.· Ability to coordinate and execute a multitude of projects with minimal supervision withintime frames and budgetary allocations.Preferred Qualifications· Experience working in union environment.· Machinist experience. · Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. is the largest flat-rolled steel company and the largest iron ore pellet producer in North America.
