Position Description:
Coordinates a section in a department that has institutional oversight responsibilities. Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a specific program or departmental project as well as the monitoring of program staff and operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise program staff, volunteers and/or students.

Major/Essential Functions:
Coordinates a section in a department that has institutional oversight responsibilities. Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a specific program or departmental project as well as the monitoring of program staff and operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise program staff, volunteers and/or students.
Organize and conduct daily functions of section inventory including but not limited to, coordinating with the various academic departments, and administrative offices to ensure successful collaboration in section builds, scheduling, data review, and policy compliance in accordance with institutional goals and guidelines.
Research, coordinate, and resolve Course and Section Inventory-related issues with Institutional Research, academic departments and Student Business Services, ensuring all requirements are met and in compliance with university rules and policies.
Review data entry and ensure data integrity in both Banner Student Information System and AdAstra Schedule Software.
Train academic contacts in appropriate scheduling requirements and methods.
Effectively critically analyze, problem-solve, and professionally communicate in both written, phone and in person interactions.

Preferred Qualifications:
Highly proficient in Microsoft Outlook Word and Excel
Knowledge of Banner Student Information, Ad Astra Scheduling, and Cognos reporting.
Experience in higher education is strongly preferred but not required.
