Position Description:
Coordinates a section in a department that has institutional oversight responsibilities. Responsibilities involve the coordination and supervision of the various functions and aspects of a specific program or departmental project as well as the monitoring of program staff and operational procedures. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on results obtained. May supervise program staff, volunteers and/or students.

Major/Essential Functions:
Provides email notices to employees/residents/students on required yearly TB Screening Form, Respiratory Questionnaire and needed immunizations.
Provides email notices to employees/residents/students and their supervisor/program coordinator on required yearly TB Screening Form, Respiratory Questionnaire, new hires and needed immunizations when non-compliant.
Provides reports as requested on various aspects of the Occupational Health Program to Occupational Health Nurse.
Assists with intake of New Employees, Residents, Students and Visiting Residents and Students.
Provide assistance to Staff, Residents and Students in order to facilitate their Occupational Health needs. Ensure all forms are completed for the office visit and updated into their EMR.
Maintains confidentiality and privacy at all times. Verify and ensure Staff, Residents and Students data is accurately documented within electronic systems.
Provides follow-up information (i.e., appointments, referrals, testing) as needed.
Creates and maintains Employee, Residents and Student health records.
Assists with processing of new employees, residents, and students including setting up their electronic health file in the electronic record system, scanning in Immunization records, providing lab orders and updating results.
Acts as point-of-contact for requests for copies of health records or changes to health records for students, residents, faculty, and employees.
May perform clinical support duties including but not limited to: phone triage, filing, data entry and lab orders.
Generates documentation required for clearance of Staff, Residents and Students
Accurately charges and takes payments for services rendered for the Occupational Health Program.
Process invoices received as indicated by payor source for services rendered to Employees, Residents and Students.
May be required to travel as a member of the Occupational Health team to provide vaccinations at TTUHSC EP Community Partners.
Remain current with all licensure, certifications and mandatory compliances and trainings required of this position.
Adhere to all policies, procedures and practices (Regents Rules, TTUS, HSECEP OPs, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:
Extensive knowledge and skill in use of multiple computer programs.
Able to interact successfully with employees and students at varied levels of education and experience.
Five years experience with office management processes in a higher education setting.
Experience with accounting processes such as AIR, A/P, etc.
Experience providing excellent customer service.
