Secretarial Position Student Relations Coordinator

Job Description:

West Hartford Public Schools seeks to fill a position for a full-time Student Relations Coordinator at Hall High School for the 2026-27 school year.

Duties for this position include, but are not limited to the following:

• Monitor daily attendance data and maintain accurate records using the schools student information system.
• Manage and process daily student events, including late arrivals, early dismissals, and excused/unexcused absences.
• Generate weekly/monthly attendance reports.
• Conduct outreach across multiple channels to facilitate communication and build positive relationships among the school, students, and families.
• Collaborate with school counselors, social workers, and administration to support student needs.
• Supervise after-school detentions.
• Other duties as assigned by the principal.

Requirements:

• Ability to independently manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and technical proficiency with Google Software.
• Outstanding interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
