Inspire Academies is a public charter district comprised of community-based, residential, and partnership schools spread across nine Central and South Texas campuses and operated by the nonprofit BRAINATION, Inc, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas. Through a partnership with Rise Recovery, San Antonio Impact High School is designed to provide a high-quality education and recovery-oriented student life for high school-aged youth seeking sobriety from drugs and alcohol.

We are looking for a student-centered Teacher to lead in the spirit of our mission to increase the capacity for learning by inspiring every student to belong, find joy, and be great. Our learning environment engages students in constructing understanding through asking questions, exploring, researching, and reflecting. We focus on strong academics, teach tolerance, value diversity, support justice, and strive daily to fulfill our mission.

• Bachelors degree required
• Willing to obtain or actively in the process of obtaining a valid Texas Teacher certification
• Open to new ideas in teaching methods
• Ability to adjust and adapt to a multitude of situations in the school environment
• Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
• Strong instructional technology skills
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Must have a satisfactory outcome of the fingerprinting check before starting employment. Fingerprinting requires a non-refundable fee paid by the employee.
