This is an excellent opportunity to join a business where accounting and finance professionals have direct exposure to executive leadership, complex transactions, and meaningful career advancement opportunities.Role SummaryWe are seeking an SEC Reporting Manager to join a high performing accounting and finance team supporting a dynamic, acquisition focused public company. This position will play a key role in SEC reporting, technical accounting, financial reporting, compliance activities, and strategic business initiatives.The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in public accounting, experience supporting SEC registrants, and the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment with evolving accounting and reporting requirements. This role offers significant exposure to executive leadership, M&A activity, debt transactions, and enterprise wide process improvements.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and support quarterly and annual SEC filings including Forms 10 Q and 10 KAssist with technical accounting research, analysis, and implementation of accounting standardsSupport acquisition accounting, business combinations, and integration activitiesParticipate in debt restructuring and complex transaction accounting projectsDevelop, enhance, and document accounting policies, procedures, and internal controlsAggregate, analyze, and organize transactional data for reporting and compliance purposesSupport internal and external financial reporting requirements and annual compliance activitiesManage reporting processes and coordinate deliverables to ensure critical deadlines are metKey RequirementsCPA required5+ years of public accounting, SEC reporting, technical accounting, or related experienceStrong audit and assurance background with public company exposureBig 4 experience highly preferredExperience with SEC filings including Forms 10 K and 10 QKnowledge of ASC 718, ASC 842, ASC 805, and other technical accounting guidanceExposure to M&A transactions, business combinations, debt structures, and private equity backed environmentsStrong analytical, organizational, communication, and project management skillsPreferred QualificationsCombination of public accounting and industry experienceExperience supporting publicly traded organizationsExposure to acquisition heavy or high growth environmentsExperience developing and documenting accounting policies and proceduresAbility to manage complex processes and competing deadlines with minimal supervisionDesire to build a long term career outside of public accountingWhy Consider This OpportunityJoin a high growth organization expanding through strategic acquisitionsGain exposure to executive leadership including senior finance executivesWork on complex accounting, reporting, and transaction related initiativesOpportunity to advance into future leadership positionsEntrepreneurial environment with the resources and backing of a larger organizationExcellent opportunity for a Senior Associate ready for promotion or a Manager seeking broader exposure and responsibilityApply TodayIf you are interested in this SEC Reporting Manager opportunity, please submit your resume and contact information to The Intersect Group.
