They collaborate with internal teams, external auditors, and management on financial reporting deliverables, perform tie-outs, and maintain documentation for audit readiness.
The role involves supporting quarterly earnings releases, reviewing filings for improvements, validating XBRL tagging, and assisting with accounting research and new standards implementation.
Required qualifications include a bachelor’s in accounting, 3+ years of SEC reporting or public accounting experience, and advanced Excel skills.
Preferred qualifications include CPA certification, oil & gas upstream experience, and familiarity with Workiva software.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are essential.
