Description / Position Overview
SEASONAL - Sprayground Attendant (PT Rec & Camp Support)
About the Job: Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services seeks an Sprayground Attendant to perform facility, program, and supervisory duties in accordance with Recreation Services Program Standards.
Job Type: This is a seasonal (at-will) position with benefits limited to those required by applicable state and federal laws, which include Workers Compensation, Medicare, Unemployment Insurance, and PERA (Public Employees Retirement Association).
Work Schedule: Thursday-Sunday, 4-7 hours/day during the summer; possible rental and food pantry distribution during school year as needed.
Anticipated dates of employment are from May 17th, 2026 through September 12th, 2026. Hours worked and start dates will vary based on department and specific location needs but be between 9:30am and 5:30pm, 20 to 40 hours per week. Work hours may be reduced from August 9th through September 7th. Total hours worked will not exceed 1,500 annually.

Physical Demands: This position requires the ability to stand, sit, stoop, walk, climb, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds occasionally.
