Education & Qualifications:          Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED with at least 3 to 5 years of working experience is strongly preferred. Prefer knowledge of law enforcement.   Must have a valid PA Driver’s License.  Management and/or Leadership experience is preferred, but not required.  Must be organized, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and have the ability to follow and enforce policies and procedures.  Must be committed to providing excellent customer service. Must be able to work long hours, lead by example, have a general knowledge of all work areas and how they function, and be able to remain calm and professional while working in stressful situations. Starting rate of pay is $13.00/hour.

Essential Functions:

  • Oversees staffing levels and assignments during daily operations based on schedules and business demand.
  • Maintains staff morale while establishing clear expectations in adherence to company and department policies and procedures.
  • Reports day to day team member concerns, resignations, issues, etc. directly to Security Manager. Acts in place of Security Manager when manager is off duty or not present. 
  • Maintains a current knowledge of all Park rules and regulations and Security Department Policies and how to enforce them.
  • Assist the Security Manager in all areas including staff training.
  • Make rounds through the Park observing both staff and guests.
  • Oversees the proper distribution and pick up of transport boxes from ticket booths, food stands, and areas where they are utilized.
  • Respond to all distress or emergency calls and secure the scene.
  • Assists lost guests and reunites them with their party safely.
  • Respond to Security Alarm Calls in the absence of the Security Manager.
  • Monitors staff breaks and job assignments.
  • Completes weekly schedule(s) only in the absence of the Security Manager according to child labor laws.
  • Investigate and document all calls that come into the Security Department in the absence of the Security Manager.
  • May travel for work by personal vehicle as needed.
  • Operate golf carts in accordance with company and department policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to work in various weather and environmental conditions including but not limited to direct or indirect sunlight, heat, humidity, rain, hail and cold.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and protect employee, customer, and consumer confidentiality.
  • Report to and from work at assigned time.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
  • Must be honest and reliable.
  • Must be able to work in a team atmosphere and assist co-workers on an ongoing basis.
  • Adhere to dress code policy.
