We are currently seeking a Part-Time Seasonal Lumber Treating Assistant to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Operate heavy equipment - forklift or skid steer (will train – must be over 18 years old).
· Lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
· Work well both independently and as part of a team.
· Drill and grind lumber samples.
· End tag lumber bundles after treatment.
· Fill and package pigment bottles.
· Facilities and heavy equipment housekeeping as needed.
· Other miscellaneous duties as they become available.
Qualifications:
· Lumber experience and knowledge a plus.
· Strong computer skills a plus.
· Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams.
· Problem-solving skills.
· Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
· Knowledge of wood treatment processes is a plus but not required (we will train the right candidate).
