Position Overview:

Do you have a passion for swimming and a knack for leadership? Ready to take on a rewarding role ensuring a safe, clean, and enjoyable pool environment? Join our team as a Pool Manager and oversee the daily operations of City of Billings municipal swimming pools this summer.

Pool Managers work closely with the Aquatics Coordinator to ensure facilities operate safely, efficiently, and professionally.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily pool operations and facility management
  • Schedule, supervise, and support aquatic staff
  • Ensure pool safety standards and policies are enforced
  • Assist with mechanical operations and facility oversight
  • Serve as a point of contact for public relations and guest concerns
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pool environment
  • Work collaboratively with Aquatics staff and leadership
  • Provide excellent care and customer service to the public

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum Qualifications & Skills:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage staff and oversee pool operations
  • Commitment to providing a safe and enjoyable experience for all patrons
  • Previous experience in swimming pool management preferred
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed

Additional Requirements:

  • First Aid and CPR certifications required (training provided if needed)
