Description / Position OverviewOpen until filled.
About this Job: In this position, you will assist with the maintenance of medians, rights-of-way, and parks for either Briargate, Norwood, or Stetson Hills SIMD.
Job Type: Seasonal Work Schedule: Normal hours worked will be Monday through Thursday 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Friday 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Schedule may include some weekends and holidays.
This is a seasonal (at-will) position with benefits limited to those required by applicable state and federal laws, which include Workers Compensation, Medicare, Unemployment Insurance, and PERA (Public Employees Retirement Association).
Approximate dates of employment will be May through September. Scheduled hours will vary based on department needs. Total hours worked will not exceed 1,500 annually.

Additional InformationPhysical Demands: The ability to stand, sit, stoop, walk, climb, bend, and lift up to 60 pounds occasionally is also required.
Environmental Conditions: This position requires working outside in all weather conditions and along high traffic areas.
