Job Title: Cashier, Oxford Park City Pool

Purpose of Position

Serves as cashier for the Oxford Park City Pool. Supervision is provided by the Facilities Director of Oxford Park Commission. Supervision Exercised None

Essential Functions

Operates as the cashier for Oxford Park Commission City Pool. Maintain a professional appearance and attitude and high standard of customer service. Responsible for opening/closing of cash drawers for your shift. Preparing daily tracking sheets and cash report for entries, sales, and concessions of day's business. Collect and track daily entry fees for adults, children, and season passes. Responsible for concession sales and tracking concession sales. Responsible for re-stocking concessions throughout the day and at end of shift. Communicating with Lifeguard Manager when stock is low/needs reorder. Knowledge of all City Pool rules, policies, programs, and rental information. Answering city pool phone to answer patrons questions/make phone calls in event of emergency to call 911. Clean work area/concession stand and stock room daily. Take out trash at end of shift. Other duties as needed/ assigned by Lifeguard Manager or Aquatics Director.

Work Environment

The cashier works seasonal hours. Nights and weekend work may be required. 95% of this work is outdoors, and requires work done in all types of weather. The stress level is moderate.
