Summary
The Seasonal Membership Conversion Specialist is responsible for successfully converting prospective members into registered participants through targeted outreach and communication strategies. The Seasonal Conversion Specialist will effectively engage leads, build relationships, and guide prospective members through the enrollment and troop placement process. In addition, this position will deliver exceptional customer service at every touch point, while still addressing questions, overcoming objections and fostering confidence in the organizations programs and services and serving as a knowledgeable and supportive resource for both external and internal customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support member conversion and placement in alignment with established business processes.
- Conduct high-volume outbound calls, texts, and emails to convert prospects into registered members.
- Use CRM systems to effectively follow up with prospective girls and adults, converting leads into members and volunteers.
- Utilize technology platforms including Salesforce, Office365, and Zoom Phone to deliver excellent member customer service.
- Communicate membership benefits, program offerings, and troop opportunities clearly and effectively.
- Support assigned troops and volunteer leaders with recruitment campaigns and placement of new and existing members.
- Apply a growth mindset and cross-functional approach to help achieve council goals.
- Support membership recruitment marketing strategies through proactive phone and written follow-up with prospective members.
- Maintain and update the Participation Catalog to ensure accuracy.
- Deliver positive, high-quality service to internal and external customers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Passion for the mission and values of Girl Scouts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Proficient using email, Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and learning new applications, platforms, etc.
- Able to understand, retain and follow processes
- Reliable transportation, a valid drivers license and
- Background check required.
- Demonstrated experience interacting with customer/members and potential customers/members and the public, providing prompt and courteous customer service to all customers in person, via phone, and written.
