Responsibilities
Prepare ingredients for menu items, including chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and portioning sauces.
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Assist with stocking and receiving inventory, ensuring proper storage of all food items.
Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain consistent quality and presentation of all dishes.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative kitchen atmosphere.
Previous line cook or prep cook experience required.
Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Ability to follow recipes and presentation specifications.
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
