Job Summary
Under general supervision, the Lifeguard monitors aquatic facilities to ensure the safety of students, staff, and community members. Prevents and responds to emergencies. Enforces all pool rules and regulations. Provides swim lessons under the general supervision of the lead lifeguard and pool manager, and performs related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Resume • Copy of High School Diploma • 3 Letters of recommendation • Bilingual preferred (Spanish) • Possession of a valid American Red Cross or equivalent Lifeguard Training and First Aid certification. • Possession of a valid American Red Cross or equivalent CPRAED for the Professional Rescuer certification. • Possession of or ability to obtain a Title 22 First Aid for Public Safety Personnel certification is desirable. • Previous experience as a lifeguard in a school or community setting is preferred. • CPR/First Aid Certification • Letters of Recommendation • Proof of HS Graduation • Resume
