  • $16.00-$17.00 per hour

Position Overview:
Are you passionate about water safety and teaching kids how to swim? Do you have the energy and skills to create a safe, fun, and educational pool environment? Join our team as a Lifeguard / Learn to Swim Instructor and play a key role in keeping swimmers safe while helping them build confidence in the water this summer. In this role, you will supervise pool areas, enforce safety rules, and lead swim lessons for participants of various ages and skill levels.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Monitor pool areas to ensure swimmer safety
  • Enforce pool rules and respond to emergencies as needed
  • Teach Learn to Swim lessons using approved curriculum
  • Provide a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment
  • Serve as a strong role model for children and patrons
  • Communicate clearly with participants, parents, and staff
  • Provide excellent care and customer service to the public
Qualifications and Skills

Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Strong communication skills and energetic personality
  • Passion for working with children and the community
  • Dependable, confident, and safety-focused
  • Ability to provide leadership and maintain control in a pool setting
  • Reliable, responsible, and serious about pool safety
Additional Requirements:
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Must possess a current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification. Training is provided if needed.
