Skilled public safety position that safeguards the public at County pools and special aquatic facilities, in a confined water environment. Work involves lifeguard activities, aquatic facility maintenance, aquatics training, skills practice and drills, and aquatics programming. Work is reviewed through employee observation, facility inspection written and oral reports.
In the event of a natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee may be required to perform emergency duties as directed.Job Type: Seasonal - Non FRS Eligible
