Pacific Coast Producers (PCP), a growing agricultural cooperative with food production facilities across the West Coast, is currently hiring a Seasonal Field Representative to join its team at its Lomo Field Station in Live Oak, CA. PCP is dedicated to investing in its people and fostering a culture of service, where each employee can do their best to make affordable, high-quality food for customers across North America. Pay Rate: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour. Weekend and overtime hours required when needed. As a Seasonal Field Representative, you will collaborate closely with the District Field Manager to inspect orchards and collect samples of raw products in rural areas. This role will involve regular visits to growers, so candidates must possess a reliable vehicle and be physically capable of walking through fields in various weather conditions, as well as performing light lifting (under 20 lbs.). Key Responsibilities: Monitor peach orchards and gather samples of raw products. Assist growers by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues that arise. Communicate crop status to the District Manager and relevant stakeholders. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Previous experience as a Field Representative or in a similar role. Knowledge of the peach and agricultural industry. Proficient computer skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and foster strong relationships with people from all backgrounds and cultures Proven capability to plan, prioritize, and organize work within a fast-paced, dynamic environment, ensuring timely completion of tasks. Ability to resolve routine and complex issues. Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision, consistently following through on projects until completion. Familiarity with local agriculture practices. * Possession of a valid California Driver's License and a reliable insured vehicle.
