The National/Alamo brand of Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Agent. The Customer Service Agent will provide superior, friendly, efficient service during all aspects of the rental car process as it applies to this position. 

 

This position pays $19.50 / hour. Employees in this position are eligible to earn additional incentive compensation up to $1,000 / month.

 

This is a seasonal position. The seasonal window starts May 2026 and cannot exceed 180 days. A seasonal employee must experience a 13 consecutive weeks break in service at the end of the season prior to applying again as a seasonal or a regular employee. 

 

This position is located at O'Hare International Airport (ORD)-  O’Hare Multi Modal Facility at 10255 W. Zemke Blvd, Chicago, IL 60666. 

 

Schedule:

  • Schedules are determined based on shift bid. 
  • Candidates must have full, open availablity to work any schedule.
  • Shift times could include, but are not limited to:
    • 6:30a-2:30p
    • 8:00a-4:30p
    • 10:30a-7:00p
    • 2:30p-11:00p
    • 4:30p-1:00a
  • Off Days Will Vary

Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet customers in a professional, friendly, and timely manner
  • Provide superior, efficient customer service by understanding and communicating rental terms and conditions, vehicle features and other services
  • Use Company approved sales and service techniques to determine customer needs and offer optional protection products, upgrades, fuel options and other additional equipment
  • Offer additional customer assistance by offering directions, maps, local area information, and appropriate service information
  • Answer incoming calls for reservations, rate quotes, general questions and answers, provide information and resolution for customers, other branches, and other vendors
  • Place outgoing calls for callback management, and miscellaneous calls as assigned
  • Assist to assess condition of rental upon return
  • Notify Management of any known customer problems
  • Notify Management of any known vehicle problems and any required vehicle maintenance
  • Continuously build knowledge and skills, pursue on the job training and development opportunities and any company sponsored classroom training
  • Perform miscellaneous and backup duties job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • Must have a high school diploma or a GED
  • Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 1 moving violation on driving record in the last 3 years
  • Must live within 30 minutes of O'Hare Airport
  • Seasonal employees may work May 2026 up until November 1, 2026. They must experience a 13 consecutive weeks break in service at the end of the season prior to working again as a seasonal or a regular employee.
