COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:
High school diploma or GED required; vocational training or relevant technical coursework is a plus.
1–3 years of experience in furniture assembly, manufacturing, or a similar hands-on production environment.
Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and basic measuring equipment (tape measure, calipers, etc.).
Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and part lists.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and efficiency.
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive motions.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and in a team environment.
Basic knowledge of inventory systems or production software is a plus.
3+ years of experience in millwork, finish carpentry, or related trades.
Strong understanding of woodworking machinery, tools, and materials.
Ability to read technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear, and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 45 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Knowledge of construction methods and practices related to millwork and cabinetry.
Excellent manual dexterity, precision, and attention to detail.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with CNC machinery and CAD/CAM software is a plus.
