Job Description
Assists in teaching swimming lessons. Monitors the use of the swimming pool and enforces all safety rules. Monitors locker weight and steam rooms. Assists in implementing various aquatic competitions. Performs a variety of miscellaneous duties not limited to answering incoming calls, running errands, picking up supplies as needed, selling tickets, collecting fees, helping set up for classes, events, and any other duties assignments needed. Responds to public inquires about aquatic programs made by telephone correspondence. Assists and monitors all other recreation activities in-house or at any other parks and or recreational facilities. Maintains records and statistics for various aquatics programs. Assists in the maintenance of the swimming pool. Performs water tests for correct water chemistry. Under the direction of a lead person, will assist in guarding patrons in pool area. Will assist in registering swimmers for swimming lessons and other facility activities. Officiates at swimming meets as needed. Will performs other duties as assigned.
Additional Information
STARTING HOURLY PAY 12.00 ph
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of tenth grade education Must be able to swim and pass the swim pre-test

Must pass background check

First Aid CPR and AED Certifications
