SDS Dock Lead - Shipping

This position offers a base hourly range of $19.46 - $32.41 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, plus bonus based on company performance.

Assist the Department Manager in coordinating labor, equipment, and processes associated with daily shipping department operations in order to meet daily production goals.

1. Coordinate labor and equipment associated with skips, loading and shipping of outbound store orders.
2. Provide feedback to manager that will be used in employee performance evaluations.
3. Maintain various logs such as: production, accuracy, inventory, temperatures, etc.
4. Perform daily checklists.
5. Work in any of the department's production tasks when help is needed or when all other Shipping Clerk tasks are complete.
6. Utilize software systems to ensure all products are accounted for before shipping and to problem solve inventory issues.
7. Compile multiple end of day reports to ensure accuracy and quality of items shipped.
8. Work closely with other departments to assure all daily goals are met
9. Adjust work schedule to meet production goals, attend meetings, etc. as needed

Education

• High School Diploma/GED required

Experience

• 1 year experience in shipping goods and materials required

• None required

Tools & Equipment (Other than general office equipment):

• Motorized Equipment (generators, pressure washer, fork lift, etc.)
