Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a Scrum Master for a Contract with a client in San Jose, CA (Remote). The ideal candidate will lead delivery and execution for complex data migration initiatives by orchestrating Agile and SAFe practices across highly interdependent teams.
Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Scrum Master Job Responsibilities include:
Own day‑to‑day delivery orchestration for the data migration squad, including readiness, sequencing, and validation activities.
Serve as Scrum Master, facilitating Agile/SAFe ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand‑ups, reviews, retrospectives, and PI Planning.
Coordinate dependencies and risks across teams, working closely with Product Owners, Architects, and the Release Train Engineer.
Maintain delivery transparency through Jira boards, execution metrics, and Confluence documentation.
Coach teams on pragmatic application of SAFe practices in regulated, highly interdependent environments.
Enable effective collaboration across globally distributed teams while managing data quality, migration, and cutover risks.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile delivery lead, with 5+ years on technical delivery teams.
Strong hands‑on experience leading Agile/SAFe delivery for data migration, system modernization, or platform transformation initiatives in regulated environments.
Proven expertise using Jira and Confluence to manage execution, dependencies, risks, and reporting across globally distributed teams.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
