Summary
Our client is seeking a senior-level Scrum Master Consultant with strong facilitation, coaching, mentoring, and Lean/Agile skills for a mission-critical modernization initiative. This role will facilitate and coach Agile practices during daily interactions with application development teams to foster collaboration and healthy self-organization.
Responsibilities
- Drive teams' focus on the flow of value using team metrics.
- Coach the Agile team on collaborative processes and facilitate the removal of impediments.
- Facilitate teams' Agile activities including iteration planning, refinement, retrospectives, demos, and PI planning support.
- Assist the Program Manager, Product Manager, and Product Owner in identifying and managing issues and dependencies.
- Train, mentor, and support teams to follow Agile values, principles, and practices.
Requirements
- Professional facilitation and coaching skills at both the individual and team level.
- A servant-leadership mindset with open/honest communication.
- Strong conflict resolution and collaboration skills.
- Problem-solving ability with willingness to identify root causes and work to resolve them.
- Excellent listening skills with the ability to give and receive feedback.
- Residency within 100 miles of the Kansas City office.
