If you're passionate about using technology to improve human life, this is where your work truly mattersWhat you will accomplish in this roleThe Agile Scrum Master II (SM) plays a critical role in facilitating and mentoring teams to embrace Agile practices while aligning their efforts with organizational goals. In this position, the Scrum Master will mentor Assistant Scrum Masters (SMs), facilitate key ceremonies for 1-2 Pods, and partner closely with Product Owners (POs) to ensure backlog items are refined and well-defined. The role emphasizes continuous improvement, fostering a culture of customer-centricity, and driving value creation at the domain level. Additionally, the Scrum Master will be responsible for maintaining accurate project tracking and ensuring Agile best practices are followed across the Pods.Job Responsibilities:Mentoring and Coaching:Mentor Assistant Scrum Masters (SMs) and coach team members to reinforce Agile principles and practices.Coach Product Owners (POs) on building Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), roadmaps, and refining product backlog items for QRP (Quarterly Roadmap Planning).Facilitation:Facilitate Pod-level ceremonies, including Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, and Sprint Reviews.Co-facilitate OKR (Objective and Key Results) planning discussions and roadmap reviews for Pods.Lead Sprint 0 setup, ensuring proper team readiness, ceremonies, and board configurations.Backlog and Sprint Management:Partner with POs to support ongoing backlog refinement sessions, ensuring backlog items are ready for planning and aligned with OKRs.Align sprint goals with roadmap objectives and promote the creation of well-defined user stories.Support Agile training delivery for Pod members, including onboarding and continuous learning.Metrics and Continuous Improvement:Monitor Pod metrics, track performance trends, and facilitate problem-solving discussions to drive continuous improvement.Lead retrospectives to identify improvement opportunities and support the team's Agile maturity.Encourage adoption of technical best practices like BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) and TDD (Test-Driven Development).Dependency Management and Risk Mitigation:Effectively identify, document, and monitor dependencies, risks, and issues across Pods and work with relevant stakeholders to mitigate or resolve them.Remove impediments or escalate issues that may hinder progress.Collaboration and Influencing:Facilitate team alignment, manage ceremony cadence, and influence without authority to drive successful delivery.Collaborate with DevOps teams on release planning and visibility, ensuring that Agile processes are in place for integration and testing stages.Guide ADO (Azure DevOps) use within the Pod, maintaining sprint boards, queries, dashboards, and reporting.Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree is preferred3-5 years of experience working as a Scrum Master or in Agile project management roles, including facilitating Agile ceremonies and mentoring team members is required2 years experience DevOps practices and tools such as ADO (Azure DevOps), and continuous integration/testing processes.
