Junior Scrum Master / Agile Program Lead

We are seeking a Junior Scrum Master / Agile Program Lead with 23 years of relevant experience to support Agile delivery within a mission-driven, nonprofit environment. The ideal candidate is local to Dallas, TX, and can commute onsite 2 days per week. This is a great opportunity for a junior project manager with Scrum Master certifications or experience to work closely with IT leadership and cross-functional teams on high-impact digital initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Support Product Owners and Business Analysts in backlog grooming and sprint goal alignment.
• Remove impediments and serve as a servant-leader for Agile teams.
• Coordinate with multiple cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistent delivery.
• Utilize tools like Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, and Figma for project tracking and reporting.
• Promote Agile best practices and help increase Agile maturity across the organization.
• Report key sprint metrics, team velocity, and performance to IT leadership.
• Shadow the IT Solutions Manager and provide support on planning, governance, and execution initiatives.
• Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams to enhance collaboration and transparency.

Required Qualifications:

• 23 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Jr. Project Manager, or Agile Delivery Coordinator.
• Experience working with Agile delivery teams in a cross-functional environment.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, and Figma.
• Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Scrum Master certification (CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP, or similar) preferred.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Exposure to Salesforce platforms (especially NPSP or other CRM systems).
• Experience working in nonprofit or philanthropic organizations.
• Understanding of IT governance and portfolio/project prioritization processes.

Work Conditions:

• Candidate must be local to Dallas, TX and available to work onsite 2 days per week.
