Job Title: Scrum Master
Job Type: Contract/Contract to hire
Job Location: Atlanta, GA


We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support Agile delivery across cross-functional teams in a growing organization. This role will facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, improve team effectiveness, and help drive successful delivery of business and technology initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on Agile leader who can balance Scrum best practices with practical execution, strong communication, and stakeholder alignment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Partner with Product Owners to ensure user stories are well-defined, prioritized, and ready for development
  • Coach teams on Agile principles, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Identify, track, and remove impediments impacting team delivery
  • Monitor sprint progress, team capacity, risks, dependencies, and delivery commitments
  • Serve as a liaison between business and technology teams to improve alignment and communication
  • Provide clear updates on progress, risks, blockers, and milestones to stakeholders
  • Maintain Jira boards, dashboards, and reporting to support delivery visibility
  • Support Agile adoption and help mature Agile practices across the organization
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Project Manager, or similar Agile delivery role
  • Experience supporting cross-functional Agile teams
  • Strong understanding of Scrum ceremonies, Agile principles, and iterative delivery practices
  • Experience working with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership
  • Strong facilitation, communication, organization, and follow-up skills
  • Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile delivery tools
Preferred Qualifications
  • Scrum Master certification such as CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent
  • Experience in insurance, financial services, healthcare, or another regulated industry
  • Experience supporting Agile transformation or Agile maturity initiatives
  • Experience working with internal teams, vendors, and business partners
  • Familiarity with backlog refinement, user story development, estimation, and sprint planning
