Job Overview:
Requirement/Must Have:
- Minimum 5+ years of Scrum Master experience in Healthcare domain.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and SAFe frameworks.
- Proven experience in PI Planning and program-level coordination.
- Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams.
- Strong understanding of Agile delivery models, SDLC, metrics, and governance.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams in a healthcare environment.
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, Backlog Refinement.
- Drive Agile maturity and ensure adherence to Agile/SAFe best practices.
- Lead and support PI Planning activities, including planning readiness and coordination, dependency identification and management, risk assessment and mitigation.
- Collaborate with Release Train Engineers (RTEs), Product Owners, Architects, and Stakeholders.
- Coach teams on Agile principles, SAFe practices, and continuous improvement.
- Identify and remove impediments and blockers impacting delivery.
- Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and collaboration.
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
- Monitor and report Agile metrics, including velocity, sprint burndown/burnup, predictability, and sprint health.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of Healthcare systems (Claims, Enrollment, Member, Provider workflows).
- Experience in regulated environments (HIPAA awareness).
Skills:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) / Advanced CSM - Mandatory.
- SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) or SAFe Agilist (SA) - Preferred.
- Additional Agile/Lean certifications are a plus.
