We are looking for a Scientist III or Principal Scientist I - Liquid Chromatography - Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS) and Analytical Support to work as a full-time employee of Parexel FSP on long-term assignment onsite at one of our clients located in Rahway, NJ. This position offers full benefits, sick time, 401K, paid holidays, and paid time off. **This position does not offer any sponsorship.** This is a laboratory-based role that maintains and operates open access LC-MS instrumentation and performs other tasks as assigned by the client. **Responsibilities** + Checks instrument performance and suitability routinely, prepares mobile phases, and performs routine upkeep ofopen accessLC-MS instruments + Maintainsaccuratedocumentation and records, data/file transfer, etc. + Communicatesstatus of instrumentsto end-user. Responds to end-user repair calls for LC-MSinstrumentsand troubleshoots/repairssimple issues such as leaks or clogs. + Submits and coordinates repair tickets for more complex issues + Assistwith purity analysis of investigational compounds byLCand high-resolutionMSexperiments. + Supportthe installation and qualificationprocessforopenaccessinstruments, including coordination with vendors. + LC and LC-MS analysis of small molecule samples as needed. **Qualifications** Degree in Chemistry or closely related field and **relevant** years of experience as listed below: + **Scientist III** - BS with 3-5 years of experience; MS with 1-2 years + **Principal Scientist I** - PhD < 1 year experience; MS with 3+ years; BS with 7+ years **Required Skills** **And** **Experience** + Reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (RP-HPLC) + Experience with Waters,Sciex, or Agilent LC-MS instrumentation and software + High resolution mass spectrometry + Strong communicationand coordination skills **About Parexel** Parexel FSP includes the CMC Operations group.
