We are seeking to hire a Scientist I (Downstream Process Development) in San Carlos, CA.

Role: Scientist I (Downstream Process Development)
Pay Scale: $81, 390 – $122, 096 (Dependent on Experience)
What You'll Do:
· Development, optimize, and scale-up purification processes for biologics candidates to
support early stage development
· Analyze and interpret data to drive technical understanding, meet project targets and
objectives, problem solve, and make recommendations that drive efficiency, knowledge, and
manage risk
· Collaborate closely with other functional areas involved in antibody therapeutics
development, including upstream process development, analytical development, project
management, and cross-functional partners
· Work effectively with external collaborators and CROs
· Coordinate activities with functional groups and project teams
What We're Looking For:
· Bachelor Experience 4+ years Equivalency Masters with 2+ years of experience
· Experience in protein purification techniques, especially chromatography; antibody
purification experience preferred
· Proficient in writing methods and operating AKTA chromatographic instruments (such as
AKTA Avant, AKTA Purifier, AKTA Pure, AKTA Ready or similar)
· Strong scientific understanding and logical thinking
· Ability to train others in basic laboratory techniques and equipment operation
