Job Summary for Speech-Language Pathologist (Charter School, Autism Focus) – Tucson, AZ

- Full-time, school-year position (August 3, 2026 – end of May 2027) at a charter school serving students with autism.
- Deliver speech-language therapy to K-12 students, focusing on individualized communication needs.
- Conduct assessments/evaluations and collect relevant student data for therapy planning.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized communication goals and progress for assigned students.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to make data-driven instructional and therapeutic decisions.
- Utilize and implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies in daily practices.
- Document services using EMR or IEP online systems as required.
- Communicate regularly with families and staff regarding student progress and therapy plans.
- Participate in professional development and continuing education as needed.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (required).
- Valid Arizona SLP license, ADE SLP certification, and IVP fingerprint clearance card (required).
- SLP-CCC preferred.
- Minimum two years' school-based SLP experience preferred, but new graduates encouraged to apply.
- Experience or familiarity with ABA strategies preferred.
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.

- Hourly W-2 rates: $55-65/hour, based on experience.
