Would you like to be part of a program that helps all students build a strong foundation to achieve success in a changing world? If so, come and be a part of the pupil services team within the Marshfield School District.

We are looking for a High School Social Worker (Gr. 9-12) that will serve as a district resource and liaison between school, home, and community to ensure the positive success of students in academics, safety, attendance, and social-emotional-behavioral functioning. They will work to decrease barriers to learning and provide a bridge between systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor''s degree with proof of enrollment or acceptance into a WI School Social Worker program (UW Green Bay, Whitewater, Madison, or Milwaukee) required*.
  • Master's degree in School Social Work preferred (MSW).
  • Currently hold or the ability to attain a certification through the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction as a School Social Worker.
  • Maintain a valid WI Driver's License and the ability to drive between district buildings.

Bachelor''s degree requirements:

Option 1)

Enroll for fall semester 2026 acceptance into one of the DPI contracted SSW programs (UW Green Bay, Whitewater, Madison, or Milwaukee). Attend full or part time. Be employed under a 1-year license with stipulations while completing the program. Note: The ''post-Masters'' DPI program work is built in, which is focused on school social work.

Option 2)

Enroll in a CSWE (Council on Social Work Education) accredited MSW program and duel enroll in a ''post-Masters'' DPI program at (UW Green Bay, Whitewater, Madison, or Milwaukee) add-on.
