Position Overview:
- Provide social-emotional support and evidence-based interventions that promote student well-being and academic success.
- Manage a mild-to-moderate special education caseload while supporting behavioral and therapeutic goals.
- Partner with students and families to support attendance improvement and re-engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster a trauma-informed and supportive school environment.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW)
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement
- Experience supporting high-risk youth, student re-engagement, or trauma-informed practices (Preferred)
- Strong flexibility, communication, and relationship-building skills in high-needs school settings
